reflections...Her eyes looked inebriated….her senses obscured with desire, the yearning to feel the heat, to touch the almost tangible craze that steamed amid them, to make love, to roll into that one fiery ball as Marvell opines…to be intimate, to be absolute… to be filled with the dews of ecstasy, of youth, of hedonism.
She craved for lust to devour her very existence…for frantic passion to pillage and assault her piety, her virtue, the chastity of her soul…for the bondage of virginity gnawed at her womanhood and men she despised…her felinity was affronted, ridiculed it became a mere object of derision under the callous scrutiny of men.
Now she was liberated, free to taste the intoxicating sensuous wine of ardor, she was a defiant in the face of thousand puritans…she heaved her head to smell the scent of her conquest and the flame in her eyes smoldered the silent spectators, she castrated them with her power to violate.
She closed her eyes to emerge from the wasteland and dive into the nadir of pleasurable sins…

Inspired from a portion in the book ‘ DAUGHTERS OF ARABIA’ by ‘JEAN SASSON’ where a princess in Saudi Arabia indulges herself in homosexual activities a silent yet radical gripe against the horrendous restrictions imposed on women by the self proclaimed fore bearers of the society

  1. That's a pretty wild assumption on the writer's part. One doesnt just indulge into any kind of sexual behavior, certianly not as a 'gripe', not to prove something. One indulges because one feels the desire to, enjoys it. And if its an excess, its because theres an imbalance in the person.

Not take away from your writing. I read some of the poems below, and you are an amazingly good writer. artist. Thanks for your nice feedback on my blog.

  2. Beautifully written!!!

I disagree with mystic rose here. Many do indulge in sex as forbidden pleasure or to revolt against the rules imposed

  4. dis piece is definitely well written n d use of language as also d construction of sentences is original in some parts but in the overall effect it severely lacks originality of imagination n there seems 2 b conflict in the thought process...... throughtout d writer celebrates "her" 'desire' n 'yearning' d fulfillment of which leads to ecstacy, youth n hedonism 'liberating' HER........but in d last line dere occurs a discord-'dive into the nadir of pleasurable sins…' d words 'nadir' n 'sin' r n direct disharmony wid 'liberation'....d truth, celebration, liberation all lose dere worth wen d 'so far' justified n more importantly glorified sensous desires r termed as 'nadir of pleasurable sins'

  5. she undergoes a process of retribution and somewhere down the line as she indulges herself in such activities she knows her reasons are wrong its not born out of love though it is extremely gratifying as far as the sexual intensity is concerned....hence the very fact that she does it for all the wrong reasons which at that time she feels is the only mode of protest it is termed as sins zee....the very fact that she breaks the conventional norms to to avenge herself yet attains pleasure from it is contradictory...dont u think so?
so.... liberation is pleasurable and fructification of carnal desires without a trace of love is a sin of huge proportions
